First day, tour Ranakpur. It is 92.8 km from Udaipur in Pali district and State Highway number 32 connects it to Udaipur. Ranakpur Jain Temples: Spectacular Jain temples are the major reason to visit Ranakpur. The architectural beauty of these marble structures is awesome. The temple is devoted to first spiritual leader of Jainism, Adinatha. It occupies about 60X62 meters land area and is divided into distinct domes, shikhars, turrets and cupolas. Marble is laden everywhere in temple which remains cool in scorching summer heat too. Exquisitely carved 1444 pillars support this massive shrine and surprisingly no two pillars are same. In addition to this, the four idols of Adinatha look in four cardinal directions as well as see each other. There are statues of Adninatha’s mother in front of his idols and you would observe one of them remained incomplete till date.

The quadrupled figure signifies the Tirthankara’s invasion over the cosmic world.

Kumbhalgarh Fort: The elaborate fortress lies in Rajsamand district of Udaipur. The periphery extending 36 miles gained the status of being second longest wall of the world after the Great Wall of China. The thick impregnable front walls enclose 300 Jain temples and 60 Hindu temples within the boundary.  It is 15 feet broad. Kumbhalgarh has seven entrances that are equipped with weapons.

Tourists will get thrilling view of Aravallis and surroundings up to 10 km.

Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary: Surrounding the fort, the Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary covers 223 square miles area.
